Here's What You Should Expect?
Athletic Facility Tours:
The Athletic Facility Tours give the athletes attending an opportunity to experience the everyday workspace of top-tier college athletes. We will tour the Locker Rooms, Medical Training Facilities, Meeting Rooms, Academic-Tutoring Areas, Weight Rooms, Practice Fields, and Game Day Stadium at each school if time permits. It's not guaranteed, but athletes may also have the opportunity to try on jersey's, helmets, and other college team apparel while on this College Tour.
College Coaches and Support Staff:
During the College Tour, athletes will have the opportunity to meet coaches at each school. Athletes will have group discussions with coaches during the College Tour and some may be pulled aside for one-on-one conversations with coaches. This is the perfect opportunity to let the coach know you are college material. Be confident, humble, and respectful at all times while interacting with college coaches and anyone affiliated with their staff. You may only get one chance to impress them. Don't disappoint!
Recruiting Info 101:
Each College will ask you to fill out their recruiting questionnaire during the trip. Here is CAL's digital recruiting questionnaire so you know what to expect. https://college. jumpforward.com/questionnaire. aspx?iid=350&sportid=18
Be prepared for the questions so you can breeze through each questionnaire with confidence. This is a part of the checks and balances of the recruiting process
Once again. You may only get one chance to impress the coaches along our College Tour and land that scholarship.
Here are some of our Best Practices for athletes who will be attending.
1.) Dress Like You Want the Money
Each school will have roughly 18 to 25 football scholarships each year. Why should they give one to you? The way you dress should never be the reason you lose a scholarship opportunity. You will be representing yourself, your family, your school, our college tour leaders, and ultimately your dreams on this trip.
Show up strong and please always make sure your pants are pulled up!
2.) Bring Your College-Bound Etiquette
Coaches will definitely pay close attention to everyone's social etiquette while we are visiting their school. We already have an amazing relationship with each college coaching staff you will meet and we look to enhance that with the quality of young men we bring on our tour this year.
Help us set the bar and please make sure you are respectful, courteous, and mature at all times during the college tour.
3.) Bring Your Resume
College Coaches meet many HS and JC athletes during the Spring and Summer months. We will have (40) athletes on our College Tour.
How will you stand out?
Smart athletes stand out by bringing something for the coaches to remember them by. We will be attending (4) schools. You can stand out by bringing 16 Player Resumes with you on the College Tour (four Player Resumes for each schools coaching staff. see below)
Player Resume - (What to Include)
- Player Pic (if you can include a face pic on your player resume, it helps coaches remember your face and inspires them to really evaluate you)
- Player Name
- Player School
- Player Grade
- Core GPA
- Accolades (All-State, All-Conference, All-League, Team Captain, etc)
- List Any Offers or Colleges Calling
- Contact Info
- Coaches Contact Info

Coaches love proactive athletes. It shows them who's hungry and who's not! The follow-up is the best way to show a coach you are serious about him evaluating you for a potential football scholarship.
Make sure you ask for each coach's business card and social networking handles that you meet on the trip. Especially if they are the recruiting coordinator or happen to coach your position.
The day after the tour, follow-up on email or social media. Follow them on Instagram and on Twitter. Build the relationship so you can land the scholarship.
It's almost Game Time!
